Motion:           (Smith/Watson) 1905-1: Approve project funding request form for miscellaneous supplies to be used for park programming at Peavey Park and the Phillips Community Center ($1,000).
Passed with amendment to fill in number 2 about how project will serve Ventura Village residents.  Answer “this program will engage neighborhood children and families who will be involved in park programming”
Motion:          (Smith/Watson) 1905-3: Write a letter of support for Indigenous Peoples’ Task Force for their project and building plans.
Passed (14 yes/0 no/0 abstained) with amendment of address: 2313 13th Avenue South
Motion:          (Maltby/Ihde) 1905-4: Write a letter of support for Our Saviour’s Community Services’ Capital improvements.

Motion:          (Watson/Smith) 1905-5: Write a letter of support for American Indian Community Development Corporation’s Anishinaabe 3 for 40 units building project.

CRIME & SAFETY-UPDATE: New CPS hired

CITY COUNCIL UPDATE: Ryan Sancartier
-Memorandum of understanding passed with MPHA
-Neighborhoods 2020 pushed back
-Currently relocating people from Navigation Center into other housing

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Wellness, Gardening & Greening: opportunities for planting in neighborhood and bees have arrived
-May 18th: flower planting along Franklin
-May 13th: at Pow Wow Grounds Coffee Shop
Parks: May 31st is the reopening of Peavey Park
