MPRB offers expanded hours over Winter Break

Youth are welcome at Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board recreation centers over Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Winter Break! Beginning Monday, Dec. 20, weekday hours expand to 12-7 pm at all MPRB recreation centers. Drop in for unstructured play or head to minneapolisparks.org/register to search hundreds of activities offered over the next two weeks. Many recreation centers are open outside of public hours for even more activities, classes and sports.

Open House at the American Swedish Institute

American Swedish Institute is opening its doors to the neighborhood for FREE! Come through on Thursday, December 30th from 5 to 8pm. ASI will be offering free admission to the museum, make and take crafts, pop up music, cookies and refreshments, and outdoor activities (including a bonfire!).

If you are a resident within Ventura Village, a non-resident who owns property, or a non-resident designee/representative of a business, non-profit corporation, place of worship, or other organization within Ventura Village then you can become a member of our organization.

Members are able to vote at General Membership and Committee Meetings on a variety of topics and motions. You will also receive our monthly neighborhood newsletter.

Apply for Guaranteed Basic Income Pilot

The Guaranteed Basic Income Pilot aims to provide an additional income boost to Minneapolis households who need it most. The pilot will provide an additional monthly $500 income for selected households for a 24-month duration.
